Darren (Whelan) holds an undergraduate degree in Audiology from the University of Leeds and has a joint master’s degree with distinction, in health science, neurophysiology and clinical research. Before joining Interacoustics he held several senior clinical positions in the NHS in clinical and research healthcare scientist roles. He has worked with audiologists and ENT surgeons. His most recent NHS role was as Head of Vestibular Assessment and Vestibular Rehabilitation/Retraining at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
Darren joined the Interacoustics Academy in 2017 as an International Clinical Trainer and has presented at many scientific conferences and meeting across the globe.
In addition to writing his blogs Darren is also responsible for running our UK User Groups and Training courses, our “how to” videos and bespoke training courses. If you want to find our more just drop him a quick email and he will be happy to get back in touch with you.
