Paediatric Assessment Masterclass

The advanced level masterclass will overview the processes and management of paediatric assessment. We will assess the procedures to undertake assessment of younger children, particularly VRA and play audiometry, best practice, where they might go wrong and how to maintain service quality. We will learn from the reviews of UK paediatric audiology services and define what we need to do to maintain service quality. Workshops will demonstrate how VRA and play audiometry can be conducted in a more integrated manner with better auditability. We will also extend the objective assessment approach to the validation of hearing aids and assessment of children with hearing aids.
