VEMP course

 This course will provide a comprehensive overview of vestibular evoked myogenic potential (VEMP) tests techniques. The agenda will begin by looking at the otolith organs, their pathways and role in the vestibular system. There will be a detailed looked at both cervical and ocular VEMP, including how to record these responses from a patient and what each tell us about vestibular function. Hands-on workshops will guide attendees through the practicalities of cVEMP and oVEMP. Clinical case studies will be used to supplement learning and test interpretation.  VEMP will be explored as one part of a larger vestibular test battery, we look at the clinical utility of VEMP and how it can be supplemented with other vestibular tests to gain a better diagnosis of your patient’s balance and vestibular function.
