This course will provide a comprehensive overview of vestibular evoked myogenic potential (VEMP) measurements. We will start with an overview of the anatomy and physiology of the otolith organs and neurological pathways for both cVEMP and oVEMP, the conditions that can be assessed with VEMPs, associated symptoms and application of VEMPs within the vestibular test battery. Measurement protocols and practical considerations will be discussed before attendees gain experience in hands-on workshops, including the interpretation of test results. Practical sessions will use the Interacoustics Eclipse system.
