vHIT Course

This course will provide a comprehensive overview of video head impulse (vHIT) test techniques. Any course covering vHIT should start with covering the vestibular ocular reflex (VOR), the pathways involved in VOR generation and how it is recorded with vHIT. Hands-on workshops will guide attendees through the practicalities of lateral and vertical vHITs. Results and interpretation will be discussed with case studies. The course will also look at the clinical utility of the tests. vHIT should be thought of as part of a larger test battery, we will explore strategies for combining vHIT with other vestibular tests to get a more complete picture of your patient’s balance function.
