Videonystagmography (VNG) Course

This course will provide a comprehensive overview of videonystagmography (VNG) tests and techniques. It is designed to breakdown the large test battery available with VNG, in order to build an understanding of when each test is an appropriate choice for the patient. We will explore the fundamentals of both peripheral and central vestibular systems and what VNG testing can show about how well both are functioning. The course will cover; how to use, setup and calibrate VNG goggles, all subtests within the VNG test battery and how interpret the test results. This course will be useful to those who are new to VNG testing, as well as those with more experience with the technique. VNG Goggles and Interacoustics VisualEyes software will be provided for all practical sessions.
